Hey, kiddo, thanks for previous greatness and I’ll be looking forward to more! As a seasoned web-site-refresher and project manager, let me offer you some unsolicited free advice (ergo worth exactly what you’re paying for it):

celebrate and congratulate yourself for incremental accomplishments in your very ambitious redesign and re-org projects! Let us know when you’ve made progress even when it’s not immediately visible, and let us offer encouragement and kudos.

when things seem to big and hairy, take a break. come back with a modest goal to spend one more hour working on it, and then walk away again for the night. If this happens two days in a row, find an incremental goal you can either accomplish by the end of the day or week, or realize you’ve already accomplished but haven’t yet celebrated. Then just get it done and celebrate it, and move back to tackling the big and hairy stuff!

Picked up on your blog several months ago from someone else that I follow.Past articles looked quite good (albeit a bit dated now) so I decided to put it in my “check once in awhile folder.” Frankly, not seeing any active post in a LONG time was just about ready to delete it from my folder when I noticed your “hello again post.” As they say: “talk is cheap” – what is your first REAL post going to be about? and when?
