Although the selection box in the installation process has disappeared there is a way. Unfortunately you have to install MAMP PRO and MAMP together. The free MAMP (grey icon) is hidden in the MAMP-map.

Now, all you’re going to get is a download of MAMP.PRO for a free 10 day trial period; AND there is no way to get around it! I’ve tried and tried to get past the pro version, but there is no way!
